Lubań (in Czech, Lubáň; in German, Lauban), sometimes called Lubań śląski (in Alto Sorabo, Lubań Šlešćina); It is a city in the Voivodato of Low Silesia in southwest Poland. It is the administrative headquarters of Lubań County and also of small Lubań Gmina (although it is not part of the territory of the latter, since the city is an urban gman separated by its own right).
